Wild Child Photography was born shortly after my own son came into the world. After taking photos of him in a bluebonnet field on a sunny Texas spring day, I knew I wanted to capture the beauty of other little ones and their families.
I’m Alex, a momma, wife, and photographer obsessed with telling your story in all its messy, authentic, and wild glory.
Some fun facts:
- I’m a born and raised Texan.
- My husband and I got married in November of 2023 in the Poetry Garden at the Dallas Arboretum.
- We had our son in February of 2025, on his due date!
- We did a 2-year stint in Colorado Springs ~for funsies~ and we really miss the mountains!
- I have two cattle dog mixes named Sadie and Zuko.
- I’m an amateur gardener and am currently growing peppers, tomatoes, rosemary, and oregano!
- I’ve been practicing yoga since 2014 and got my CYT 200 in 2019.
- I love to read – mainly fantasy, lit fic, and memoir. Send me your recs!
I want your session to feel relaxed, unscripted, and totally you. It should be memorable, not stressful. Don’t worry about your kids being “too loud” or “too rambunctious,” or your home being “too messy.” I’m here for the beautiful space that you and your loved ones take up.
